Ronde van Vlaanderen

The second monument of the season, Ronde van Vlaanderen (Tour of Flanders) takes place on Sunday. The overwhelming favourite is Fabian CAncellara due to his dominating performance in winning E3 Prijs Vlaanderen last week.

The British riders on the startlist are Roger Hammond and Dan Lloyd for Garmin-Cervelo, Adam Blythe of Omega Pharma-Lotto, Mark Cavendish of HTC-High Road and the quartet of Jeremy Hunt, Ian Stannard, Ben Swift and Geraint Thomas will all be riding for Sky. They will be hoping to get the chance to be only the second British winner of the race - it is now fifty years since Tom Simpson won in 1961.
