The third stage of the Circuit Franco-Belge was won by Tom Boonen who just beat British rider Roger Hammond and American Tyler Farrar in a sprint finish from a nine-man breakaway group. The result moves Hammond into third place overall, 18 seconds behind Farrar and 10 seconds behind Boonen.
