Team Raleigh to return in 2010

Team Raleigh will make a come-back in 2010 and have registered an application for UCI Continental status. They say they will be targeting the UK Premier Calendar, Tour Series and intend to try and secure an invitation to the Tours of Britain and Ireland.

It will be 30 years after Joop Zoetemelk won the Tour de France for TI Raleigh in 1980, and they return with an ambitious plan. Chris Truett has been appointed as the manager for the new team which aims to race 'at the very highest level' in five years.

No riders have yet been announced for the team.
