Froome wins Vuelta stage 17

Chris Froome has won stage 17 of the Vuelta a España which finished on the climb of Peña Cabarga. Race leader JJ Cobo made an initial move on the climb which only Froome was able to follow, then with 1500m to go Froome attacked hard and was able to get a good gap on Cobo. However Cobo did not panic and was able to gradually close back up to Froome and took the lead with 75m to go. Froome was not finished though, and nipped up the inside of Cobo on the final corner to take the stage win. With the time bonus Froome has reduced Cobo's lead overall to 13 seconds.
