Ian Wilkinson has won stage 3 of the Tour de Normandie, a quick 61km journey between Forges-les-Eaux and Gaillon. Wilkinson was part of a five man escape group which got away early and finished 1'05" ahead of the peleton. Kazakh rider Ruslan Tleubayev led out the sprint but Wilkinson came around him to take his first win of the season.
