Edvald Boasson Hagen won his second stage in a row in the sprint finish in Blackpool. A big crash inside the final kilometre delayed most of the field, leaving just six riders to contest the finish. Boasson Hagen comfortably held off Sutton, Reimer and Russell Downing to take the win.
